Michael Lee Woodrum, 44, of Wilmore, husband of Angela Cobb Woodrum, died Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.

Born in Woodford County, he was the son of Marvin and Mary K.(Gaheart) Woodrum of Versailles. He was an organic farmer and former horse transportation employee, a member of Versailles Baptist Church, and served in the Kentucky Army National Guard.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by two daughters, Michelle Leigh Woodrum and Whitney Underwood, both of Wilmore; a stepdaughter, Amberly Merritt, Nicholasville; a son, David Michael Powell, Owensboro; a sister, Tammy Gayle Parrett, Lancaster; his paternal grandmother, Mary Woodrum, Wilmore; and his maternal grandmother, Katherine Chasteen, Versailles.

A memorial service was conducted Friday, March 18, at Versailles Baptist Church by the Rev. John Brandon. Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
