Civil War Veteran; 21st OVI; Captured Sept 1863 conveyed to Confederate prisons Libby & Andersonville. Survived the Sultana explosion on the Mississippi April 1865;After War Married to Catherine Folk moves with son Edwin to Owl Creek north of Apalachicola Fl. Murdered by George Irvin onboard oyster boat "Chattahoochee." Buried in Flordia.
