Larry D. Calvert, 53, of Radcliff died Monday October 26, 2015 at University Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

Larry was an owner of Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff and Vine Grove, KY. Following in his late father's footsteps (Arnold D. Calvert) as assistant chief, he diligently volunteered over 35 years of service, with the Radcliff Fire Department. Although he participated in many organizations and clubs over the years the memberships he held closest to his heart were Grace Heartland Church and the Elizabethtown Emmaus Community.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Beth Bennett Calvert; a daughter, Kara Calvert Stewart and her husband, Devin; his mother, Betty Denson Calvert, all of Radcliff; his brother, David A. Calvert and his wife, Karen Mills Calvert of Pleasure Ridge Park; and his grandmother, Sibyl Calvert Hanes of Scottsville, KY.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 31st at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff, officiated by Pastors Jeff Noel and Ernie Bagley. Burial with fire department honors will follow at North Hardin Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday and beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
