MEREDITH – Nancy A., 74, Ebensburg, died Oct. 25, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Oct. 21, 1941, in Johnstown, daughter of Robert and Romayne (Croyle) Poole. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Deborah Ledney; and granddaughter, Desa Bane. Survived by husband, Dwaine; children, Cindy Himes (Steve Vrana), Clymer, and Robert Himes, and partner, Shermon Dixon, Rock Hill, S.C.; grandchildren, Nicole Boyle, Anna-Marie Stoehr-Herbert and Joshua Stoehr; and a great-grandchild, Kamden Boyle. Sister of Robert Poole (Rosie), Johnstown, and Patricia (Ronald Rhodes), Fairless Hills. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, where she participated as a lay speaker. She was a graduate of Ferndale High School, Class of 1960, and was a former member of the Classic Clowns. She was a retired nursing assistant from Arbutus Park Manor. Friends received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Gregory Stiver, officiating. Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
