Katherine K. Webb, born Katherine Kinniry and known as Kay Webb, Bethel Park, PA, was born in Hartford, Connecticut on December 18, 1924 to the late Joseph Michael Kinniry and Margaret Tracy Kinniry. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Harold "Chick" Webb, Jr., her sisters Margaret "Peggy" Foye, Mary Ann "Polly" Golden, Dorothy "Dot" Wardwell, Ann Howard and her brother George "Bud" Kinniry.

Kay was the loving mother of 4 children, who along with their families, will greatly miss her. She was survived by daughter Karen of Pittsburgh, PA, Robert (Cheryl) of Indiana Twp., PA, Timothy (Kathi) of Bethesda, MD and Richard (Jill) of Sewickley, PA. Kay was the proud and loving grandmother of Daniel, Michael (Meredith), Stephen, Thomas, Harry, Maryann, Grant, Maren and Grace Webb.

Kay Kinniry was a graduating member of the Hartford Public High School Class of 1943. Kay and Chick were married December 28, 1946 at St. Joseph's Cathedral in Hartford, Connecticut. They were married for 47 years before his death in 1994. They met at Old Farms Convalescent Hospital in Avon Connecticut where Chick was recovering from wartime eye injuries and Kay was a volunteer with employee colleagues from the Aetna Life and Casualty Company. Kay provided reading assistance for Chick before and during his 35 year career as a professor at Duquesne University. Kay earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duquesne University in 1979, and served as an academic advisor in the political science department from 1980-1992. The Webbs moved to Bethel Park, PA in 1958, and made their home on Pinehaven Drive for 50 years. Kay and Chick were founding parishioners at St. Louise de Marillac (Upper St. Clair, PA), where she served as a school volunteer from 1963 - 1974. Kay devoted her life to raising and nurturing her family. She was proudest of the academic achievement of her children, which she took an active role in fostering from an early age. Kay volunteered her time to lead the Junior Great Books program at St. Louise during her children's grade school years. Her children went on to earn advanced degrees in education, law, engineering and business. Each summer she took the family back to her native Connecticut, where her children developed some of their fondest childhood memories spending their summers at the beach with their cousins at Olde Lyme Shores. Kay led a life of faith and her greatest gift to her children is the example of her life.
