SPRINGFIELD - Laura Belle Rhodes, 86, of Springfield died Monday, Dec. 29, 2003, at Capitol Care Center.

She was born July 11, 1917, in Hillsboro, the daughter of Lawrence and Margaret Kelley Zepp.

She retired from Kaspers Market after 35 years.

She was a member of the American Business Women's Association and Third Presbyterian Church, where she attended the Mariners Sunday school class.

Survivors: a son, Lawrence "Larry" (wife, Frances) Rhodes of Springfield; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Lois (husband, Jim) Wallace and Donna Wilson, both of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, Ellinger-Kunz and Davis Funeral Home, the Rev. George Heineman officiating.

Burial: Roselawn Memorial Park.
