He is survived by two daughters, Deborah Sandage , Half Moon, AR and Joan Shelton, Knob Noster, MO; one son, William Wayne Shelton Jr, Aurora, Ill; one brother, Donald Shelton, Collierville, TN; three sisters, Sarah Ann Lewellen, Ripley, Wanda James, Memphis and Judi Presley, New Albany; 7 grandchildren, Christopher Brown, April Holbrooks, Haylee Holbrooks, Sara Shelton, Ashley Shelton, Austin Shelton, Devin Shelton and one great-grandchild, Brittany Brown.
He was preceded in death by his parents: his wife, Marie Collins Shelton; one daughter, Melinda Shelton; two grandsons, Robert Allen Brown , A.J. Shelton; one brother, Gerald Shelton; one sister, Ila Mae Hill.
