Susan Elizabeth Garrett Manley, 80, of Versailles, widow of Luther Harrison Manley, died Tuesday, March 2, 2005, at her residence .

The daughter of the late Charles Marion and Lena Ellen Brown Garrett, she was a retired employee of Union Underwear in Frankfort.

Survivors include a daughter, Connie Diana Thompson; a sister Ann Kincaid; a grandson, Michael Thompson; a nephew, David Kincaid; all of Versailles; and special nieces, Ella Troxell, Midway, and Katherine Arthur, Lexington.

Services were conducted Friday, March 4, at Blackburn and Ward Funeral Home by the Rev. Doug Simpson. Casket bearers were Carl Thompson Jr., Michael Thompson, David Kincaid, Clayton Manley Sr., Charles Brown, Steve Ward, Ben Troxell, and Louie Brown. Interment was at the Versailles Cemetery.
