Devoy Bench, age 75, of Dover passed away Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015, in Little Rock.

He was born March 20, 1940, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Herman Gordon and Mary Phelps Bench. He was of the Baptist faith and worked for Sherwin-Williams for 29 years, where he was a manager.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 55 years, Twyla Rhea Bench; two brothers, Gordon and Deon Bench.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Tony and Vickie Bench of Conway and Clinton Bench of Dallas, Texas; a granddaughter, Dani Perez and her husband, Daniel of Plano, Texas; and numerous nephews and nieces.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, at the Shinn Chapel, with the Rev. Mark Simmons officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home.
