Lillie Cain, 91, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, Aug. 18, 2006.

Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 21, at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Fortenberry and the Rev. Ken Dodson officiating. Interment follows in Evergreen Cemetery.

The family receives friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

She was born Jan. 9, 1915, in Idabel, Okla., the daughter of William and Martha Hubbard Dodson. She moved to Texas where she met and married George Washington Cain on May 4, 1931.

She resided in Jacksonville at Twin Oaks Nursing Center and was a member of Hilltop Baptist Church in Berryville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George; daughter, Evelyn; parents, William and Martha; and brothers, Woodrow, Lawrence, Leonard and Hersial.

She is survived by her son, Charlie Doyle Cain and wife, Linda, of Frankston; grandchildren, Sherri Lynn Jones of Sachse, Deborah Crow of Paris, Steven Mark Cain of Garland, Kristi Lynn Denton of Frankston and Teresa Michele Cain of Dallas; six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Cain, Jerry Watters, Alan Jones, John Wiley, Doyle Mobley and Mike Pelton. Honorary pallbearers will be Zachary Denton and Bryan Cain.
