When Colleen Wilson's urn is released to cemetery's representative Ernie Krewson it will be interred free of charge in the cemetery lot Colleen requested.
Colleen Georgia Wilson, 85, a resident of Myrtle Point, passed away Oct. 25, 2015. She was born in Coquille June 23, 1930 to parents Harold and Wilma Shepherd of Dora.
Colleen loved gardening, singing, playing the piano, antiques, animals and time with family and friends. She was known for her smiles, laughter, warmth and being known as everyone's "Grammy."
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Burton Wilson, who was her high school sweetheart; and three children and their spouses, Sharon and Bob Smith of Roseburg, Lyle and Shelley Wilson of Sixes, and Jerry Wilson of Myrtle Point; eight grandchildren, Koree, Jeff, Jenny, Jessica, Lacey, Jaime, Brogan and Sawyer; and 13 great-grandchildren, Taylor, Darian, Drew, Wilson, Kenedy, Sidney, Payton, Paige, Emilee, Aubree, Kelsee, Averee and coming soon Lincoln.
Colleen was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Wilda.
Per Colleen's request there will be no service.
