M.A. Wallace, 79, of Wynne, Arkansas, died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at a Memphis Tenn. hospital.

He had lived in Wynne since 1993, moving there from Waldenburg. M.A. was of the Baptist belief. He loved to deer hunt and fish. Every weekend he enjoyed quality time with his wife at their cabin on the Eleven Point River, often accompanied by his children and grandchildren. He was a hard working and generous man who always had a smile on his face and a whistle on his lips. Above all, he was a family man who loved with all his heart. He was an active supporter of the Lion’s Club, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and LeBonheur Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Litha Wallace and one sister, Sarah Jane Harlson.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Vaudine Wallace of the home; son, Stanley Wallace of Fair Oaks; daughters, Rhonda Miller (Kevin) of Jonesboro; Lisa Garner of Pocahontas; brother, Junior Wallace of Horse Shoe Bend; sisters, Eva Nell Harlson of Harrisburg; Barbara McDaniel of Wynne; grand-children, Ben Wallace, Jessica Wallace Smith, Mallory Maddox Smith, Madison Maddox Daffron, Montgomery Miller, Jennifer Garner, Jordan Garner Raby; great grand-children, Dayton Smith, Brady Smith, and Weston Smith.

Funeral services were at Emerson Memorial Chapel with burial at Bolivar Cemetery
