Will of Ann Leavens


In the Name of God Amen this 24th Day of December 1793 I Ann Levins of Bourbon County of State of Kentucky Being in perfect Memory tho Weak & frail in Body and Calling to mind the Uncertainty of this life and that all flesh muft die & Return to dust from Whence it came first I Recommend my soul to almighty god my Savior [?] & Redeemor in whom & by whofe merit [?] I trust asuredly to be Savd [?] and as for my Temporal affairs I Dispofe of them For manner & form following this is to say firft of all I Give & Bequeath to Henry Levens my Eldest Son one Dollar Secondly I Give and Bequeath to my Daughter Petience Mash five Shillings thirdly I give & Bequeath to my Second son Richard Levens one Dollar fourthly I give and Bequeath to my Daughter Rebecah Selvey one Dollar and [Sixthly?] I Give & bequeath to my third son Nicholas Levens one Dollar and Seventhly I Give & Bequeath unto my Daughter Ann McCrary one Dollar & eightly I Give & Bequeath to my Youngest Son James Levens the Remainder of my Estate after my Lawful Debts being Paid I Do hereby make my Son James Levens heirs [?] & Executor of all my estate both Real & Personal except as above excepted Disanuling [?] all former Wills & bequeaths by me made but Ratifying & acknowledging this to be my last will & Teftament signed with my hand & Sealed with my Seal the Day & Date above Written
