Devoted family man, James Naquin, Jr. passed away peacefully on February 22, 2005. A native of Louisiana, the U.S. Navy brought Jim to Pittsburg, CA, where he met his wife, Shirley. They had two children and made their home in Concord. Jim was employed at USS Steel for more than 34 years. He was an accomplished gardener, a master breeder of German Roller canaries and once the President of the Oakland International Roller Canary Club. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years. He is survived by his beloved children, Cheryl and Rodney, and adoring granddaughter, Michele. Jim will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
