John Brockman Jr., 88, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2015, at Ashland Healthcare in Ashland.
John was born March 2, 1927, in Boonville, the son of John and Blanche Marrow Brockman.
He worked in housekeeping at University Hospital.
John married Ruth V. Perkins on June 1, 1965, in Boonville, and she preceded him in death.
He was a member of Little Bonne Femme Baptist Church.
Survivors include stepson Charles Zumwalt of Davenport, Iowa; step-daughter Aloma Loretta Hayes of Joplin; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four nephews, Richard, John and Steven Wainscott and Gary Bridgewater; and one niece, Linda Wainscott.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Edith Miller and Helen Wainscott.
