Timothy Braden Wolfe, of Newport Beach, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015. For the past several months, Tim fought heroically through cancer. Throughout the time, Tim was fighting his disease, even in his final weeks, he spent quality time with family and friends, visiting Disneyland, going on a trip to Sedona, Duffy rides on the bay, going to the movies, and just spending time together. For those final memories, Tim was eternally thankful.

Tim was born in Sacramento, CA on April 3, 1969, and was raised in Newport Beach, growing up with his two brothers Kevin Wolfe and Carter Cassel. As a youth, Tim enjoyed many outdoor activities, but in particular had a passion for skiing and sailing, spending many of his summers at Bahia Corinthian Yacht Club, racing boats in Newport Harbor and winters on the slopes.

After high school, Tim joined the United States Army, and served in the 82nd Airborne Division, 508th Parachute Regiment from 1987-1991. His distinguished career included two tours of duty, Operation Just Cause (Panama) and Operation Desert Storm (Iraq) as a squad leader. Tim was awarded the combat infantry badge.

After completing his service in the military, Tim married Amy Mihalko in 1994. Tim graduated from Chapman University, with a degree in English, and an emphasis in Journalism. After graduation from college, he pursued a career in Marketing. Tim was also an avid reader, particularly action and spy novels. His quick wit and warm laugh brought joy to those around him.

Tim loved being a father and spending time with his two children, Braden and Avery. He would often be seen at the soccer field or swimming pool supporting his children's activities.

Tim is survived his parents, Dennis Wolfe and Janice Cassel; his two children, Braden and Avery Wolfe; his brother, Carter Cassel and Amy Mihalko Wolfe.

Tim was preceded death by his brother, Kevin Wolfe.

Celebration of Tim's life was held in a private ceremony.
