Clarion Rites For Mrs. Potter

Funeral services for Mrs Mabel Potter, 82, Galt, formerly of Clarion were held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Eyler Funeral home in Clarion. The Rev. J. Curtiss Russell, pastor of the United Presbyterian church, officiated and burial was in the Galt Cemetery. Mrs. Potter died Thursday at Clarion Community Memorial hospital which she had entered Wednesday. She was the widow of Dr. William Potter, who practiced medicine at Galt for 50 years. After his retirement they moved to Clear Lake where Dr Potter died in 1946. Mrs. Potter then moved to Clarion and recentlv had been at Galt again. Surviving are two children, Maxfield and Mrs. R. L. Bunn of Galt, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
