Maurice lived for his children and on Saturday he died for them as well. He graduated from Hillsborough Community College and leaves to cherish his memory a devoted mother, Evangelist Ida Harris Jackson; five daughters, Dominique Ousley, Maurshanna Harris, Maurissa Harris, Maurinia Harris and Mauranda Harris all of Tampa; three sisters, Brenda R. West-Showers of Tallahassee, B. LaShune Harris of Tampa, and Beverly Washington of Bartow; two brothers, Calavito James Harris and Bruce Stephens of Bartow; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and Godmother Inez Grier.
