My brother was a victim of homicide, the actual date is unknown. He was missing for about a year befor we finally received a phone call from St. Petersburg, Florida Pinellas County detectives early one Sunday morning informing us there may be a break in Joey's case. We were summoned to the coroners office where we were asked to identify remains of a young man found only hours before. We were able to positively identify him and finally bring him home.
Joey is buried in New Rochelle where many members of our family are buried.
We received very little information of Joeys' last minutes on this earth, but what we do know is he was hitchiking home. Apparently given a ride by the person responsible for taking him from us.
We placed flowers from Joeys' funeral service in a cement foundation when we added several rooms to the house he is pictured standing in front of here on FindAGrave.
