Eva Sue "Suzi" Booth Britner, 70, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015 surrounded by family and friends at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, FL. She was born with her twin brother Sid in Leesburg, Florida on October 31, 1944 to Ruth and Carl Vay Booth. She put her education on hold, married Larry Britner in 1962 and had two children, Valarie and William. Over subsequent years, she worked in the restaurant industry in St. Petersburg, Leesburg and Melbourne. Gifted with electronics, she worked in telephone repair and later attained a position at Smith Industries Aerospace and Defense. In 2000, after raising her children and having grandchildren, she went back to school and earned her diploma. She settled in Melbourne, joined First Baptist Church of Melbourne and was active in the Patchwork of Grace ministry making gifts to help others through stressful times, the Seafarers Ministry and was a Care group leader. She is survived by her twin brother Sid Booth, her children Valarie Lossa and William Britner, their father Larry Britner, grandchildren Amber Stout, Tom Lossa, Christina Lossa, Danny Scott, Linda Welch, Michelle McMillan, great and great-great grandchildren, in-laws, nieces and nephews, and honorary family members that called her Mom or Miss Sue. Her sweet caring nature and smile will be missed by many.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on her birthday, Saturday, October 31, 2015, at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Melbourne, 3301 Dairy Rd, Melbourne, FL 32904. Funeral arrangements were made with the gentle guidance of Buggs Funeral Home.
