Donna Jean Townsend, 53, of Coleman, died Monday April 30, 2012 as the result of an automobile accident. She was born in Mt. Pleasant December 17, 1958 the daughter of the late Dale and Frances (Rose) Mogg.
Survivors include her daughter Courtney and Nicholas Shenard of Albany, N.Y., son Nicholas Townsend of Clio, special special granddaughter Stella Shenard, brothers Melvin and Lindy Mogg of Sparta, Stanley and Judy Mogg of Coleman, Carl and Beatrice Mogg of Wixom, Glenn and Stephanie Mogg of Coleman, Doug and June Mogg of Coleman, sisters Orrel Jane Kennedy of Midland, Leona and Ray Murphy of Clare, Evelyn and Terry Burns of Coleman, Rose and Jim Litke of Clare, many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother Ronald Dale Mogg.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday May 4, 2012 at the Community of Christ Church in Coleman with Evangelist Rodney Colmus officiating. Burial will take place in the Riverlawn Cemetery, Isabella County.
Donna was employed at the Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening and spending time with her family. She loved Elvis.
