Matthew Benton died at the age of 24 in Little Rock, Arkansas, after a 5 year battle with Brain Cancer.
He resided in Conway, Arkansas. He was the son of Virginia (Mathis) Benton and Mark Bailey. Matthew was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Conway, Arkansas. He graduated Conway High School in 2000. and graduated the University of Central Arkansas in 2006, with a major in speech communications and a minor in business. He was a third generation Sigma Tau Gamma. He was actively involved in the family businesses, Mark's Vending & Distributorship and the Corner Pantry. Matthew enjoyed outdoor sports, fishing, and hunting. Matthew was survived by: His parents, Virginia and Mark, a sister, Brooklyn Benton and a brother, Adam Benton.
