Lizzie - born March 2, 1837 (married Dr. Daniel H. Owen)
Anne - born April 15, 1839 (married Ripley Coolridge)
Susan - born June 25, 1841 (married Marshall Whitney)
Susan became crazy (date unknown). Phineas did not make enough money to support the family of 10. Therefore, the children went to various places to be raised by others. Joanna went to live with the Springs of Hiram, ME. (Joanna gave her youngest daughter, Eliza Brown, the middle name of Spring - in honor of the people who raised her.)
Susan died at the home of her daughter, Joanna Libby (Brown) -- wife of Colman Brown - at Hog Fat Hill, Convene/Sebagao, ME on August 15, 1879, at age 71 of typhoid fever.
Her place of burial is unknown.
