The following obituary appeared in the Daily Review on Sunday, March 8, 1964, the day after the accident which took the life of Patricia Lynne Bone.
"PATRICIA BONE
CASTRO VALLEY - Funeral services for Patricia Bone, 18, who was killed yesterday morning in a San Leandro auto accident will be held in the Chapel of the Valley, 20359 Lake Chabot Road, Castro Valley, tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Paul B. Rhodes of the First Presbyterian Church of Hayward officiate.
Miss Bone was killed when the car she was driving turned over at the bottom of a hill in San Leandro.
A native of California, Miss Bone was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hayward. She lived at 18455 Hastings Way, Castro Valley. She leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Bone; a brother, Jim Bone, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L. Bone of Grass Valley and Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Aldrich of Sacramento.
Burial will be in the Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward."

Patricia is a great great Granddaughter of James Frederick & Mary (Elston) Bowden who went west, crossing the Great Plains in the 1850s while enduring many trials, hardships and sorrow, and finally settling in Butte County. Their final resting place is in Chico Cemetery in Chico, CA.

Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park is located at 3299 Mission Blvd in Hayward, CA. The cemetery is on the east side of Mission Blvd. There are two entrances to the cemetery. The North (main) entrance, adjacent to the Chapel of the Chimes and cemetery offices. The other is the South entrance, though this South entrance gate is not always open. Patricia's grave is closest to the South Entrance.
Enter the South Entrance, immediately veer around to the left (north) of the fountain. Continue approximately 100 yards, past the Mission Chapel on the right. Park on the left along the curb near the group of large trees on the left. Her grave is just a few steps in toward the trees from the curb.

Her grave is just a few steps in toward the trees from the curb.
