DEATH SUMMONS SETH W. WICKHAM
Wickham - Died at 6:30 o'clock Saturday morning at the family residence, 334 South Douglas avenue, Seth Wells Wickham, aged 86 years, 7 months and 3 days.

Mr. Wickham was born near Newark, Ohio in Licking county.

About sixty years ago, his father died, and he and his mother and other members of the family moved to this state and settled near Farmingdale.

Mr. Wickham purchased a large tract of land and later sold it for a good profit with which he purchased an improved farm of eighty acres. He worked this farm for forty-six years, and fourteen years ago moved to this city, retiring from the farmer's life.

The decedent was married twice. First wife, Miss Margaret Ray of Farmingdale, died in 1868, and his second wife, Cornelia (Frazee) Large Wickham, survives him.

The other survivors are his son, Thomas W., of this city; and one daughter, Mrs. Louis Ferreira, of Withee, Wis.; and six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

The funeral will be held at 9:30 o'clock Monday morning at the family residence, 334 South Douglas Avenue M.E. church, Rev. W.N. Toble, pastor of the church officiating.

Interment will be made at Farmingdale cemetery.

DEATH OF SETH WELLS WICKHAM
Seth Wells Wickham, one of Sangamon county's oldest residents, died at his residence, 334 South Douglas avenue, yesterday, at the age of 86 years, 7 months and 3 days.

Mr. Wickham was born on a farm near Newark, Ohio, Oct. 30, 1824, and came to this county about sixty-six years ago, settling near Farmingdale, where he lived for forty-six years.

For the past fourteen years, he had led a retired life in this city.

He is survived by his wife, Cornelia; one daughter, Mrs. Louis Ferreira of Withee, Wis.; one son, Thomas W. Wickham, of this city; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Mrs. Margaret A. Ray first became the wife of Mr. Wickham, and died in 1867.

In December, 1868, he was married to his surviving widow.

Mr. Wickham was an uncle of Charles M. Post, the manufacturer of Battle Creek, Mich., formerly of this city.

The funeral will be held Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock from the family residence, and at 10 o'clock from the Douglas Avenue M.E. church, the Rev. W.N. Toble, the pastor, officiating.

Interment will be in Farmingdale cemetery.
