Floyd Jackson, age 75 of Spring Lake passed away Monday, September 28, 2015 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus. Floyd was born September 16, 1940 to Ralph and Ione (Wilber) Jackson in Bitely, MI. He married Beverly Britton on May 6, 1957.Floyd was self-employed. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Floyd loved the opportunities he was given to help his family with various projects. Floyd attended Nortonville Gospel Chapel. He is survived by his loving wife, Bev; daughters, Carla (Rick) Nuvill, Darcy (Kevin) Clark both of Spring Lake; son, Dale Jackson of Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Michelle (Jason) Vink, Janelle Nuvill, Dacia Jackson, Troy Jackson, Josh Clark, Seth Clark; great grandchildren, Chloe and Carson Vink, Cadence, Kaylee and Trajen Jackson, Kaiyana Jackson and Brody; sister, Genevieve Morrison of Muskegon; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Floyd will be 2:00 pm Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Nortonville Gospel Chapel. Interment will be in Spring Lake Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Klaassen Family Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church.
