Born in Scotland to parents David Davidson and Rachel Millar Davidson; immigrated to Canada in 1905; first married William Belcher in Saskatchewan then came to Alberta with her daughter Jessica Rachel Belcher; married John 'Jack' Johnston in Vermilion in 1921; after his death in 1936 married Carl Walter Hanson; mother of 10 children.
