Married Ollie M Allison, the son of Henry R Allison and his 2nd wife Mary Belle Sweat.

On 5 Jan 1920 Jewell McCain age 2 was residing in Mitchells, Lauderdale, Alabama with her parents Frank & Annie Mccain and her siblings: Nora Mccain age 17, Cranston Mccain age 10, Roxie Mccain age 7 and Daisy Mccain age 5. She also had an older brother Oscar Perry McCain who was age 25, married and residing in Crane Hill, Cullman, Alabama in 1920.

On 4 April 1930, Jewell Mccain age 13 was residing on State Line Road in District 17, Lincoln, Tennessee with her parents Frank & Annie Mccain and siblings: Roxie Mccain age 17, Daisy Mccain age 15, Noble Mccain age 7 and Edna E Mccain age 5.

Jewell Marie McCain married Ollie M Allison sometime after 1933 but before 1950. Her husband Ollie M Allison was 1st married to Grace Louise Lewis in 1929 in Madison County, Alabama, his wife Grace died on 1 MAY 1933 in Madison, Alabama.

From 1950 to 1954 Jewell M Allison and her husband Ollie M Allison lived at 885 Buchon in Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo, California. Her husband was a Partsman for E. H. Thresh Inc. and later a Parts Manager.

From 1961-1966, Mrs Jewell M Allison was residing at 1020 A Street in San Diego, San Diego, California. She was a Salewoman for Marston Co.

Jewell Marie Allison, 81, of Huntsville died Tuesday at her home. The funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. W.O. "Dub" McCain officiating.

Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore, Alabama.

Mrs. Allison, a native of Lauderdale County, Alabama, lived in California before moving to Huntsville in 1988.

She was a member of Faith Christian Fellowship Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Roxie Gatlin and Daisy Tilley, both of Huntsville.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.


Her sister Roxie Mccain was born 27 AUGUST 1912 in Alabama and died 24 MARCH 1999 in Huntsville, Madison, Alabama. She married Wendell R Gatlin. Both Roxie and Wendell are also buried in Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore, Alabama.
