“Mrs. Margaret Hirn, 84, of 152 West Water street, died at 8 p.m. Sunday of complications after a two day illness. The widow of John Hirn, she had lived in this city her entire lifetime. She was born in Chillicothe on July 15, 1857, the daughter of John and Cecelia Barr Stinebreaker. She was married on Nov. 18, 1879, to John Hirn, who died on June 15, 1908. A son, Anthony also is deceased. Surviving are one daughter, Miss Emma Hirn, 152 West Water street; two grandchildren, Mrs. J. M. Weisenberger, and Mrs. J. E. Unsworth; one great grandson, Daniel Anthony Unsworth; one half-sister, Mrs. Mame Egan, 401 North High street; one half brother, Albert Litterest, Columbus; and one nephew, Leroy Litterest, Cleveland. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter’s Church, of which she was a member. The Rev. F. J. Keuskamp will officiate. Burial in St. Margaret’s Cemetery will be made by the M. J. Grohe funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home from Thursday noon until time of burial.”
