Katie J. Mann Phillips, 34, of Wooster, died Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015, at University Hospital in Cleveland, after a courageous battle of six years with pulmonary hypertension.

Friends may call Sunday from 1-4 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, with funeral services to follow at 4 p.m. Pastor Brian White will officiate. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.

Katie was born on June 18, 1981 in Wooster to Jon and Donna (Franks) Mann, and graduated from Wooster High School in 1999. She worked for Technigraphics/CACI as a digitizer/team leader. She was involved with 4-H, loved the outdoors, fishing, her pets and vacationing with her family. Her son, AJ was the love of her life.

Katie will be deeply missed by son, AJ Phillips; her parents of Wooster; sisters, Jennifer Hanna, and Tracy (Josh) Case, both of Wooster; her loving partner, Frederick Older; nephews, Matthew Hanna, Jack Case, and Jon Hanna; and grandmother, Dorothy Franks.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Elton Franks, and paternal grandparents, Norman and Betty Mann.
