Madelyn was a member of Eastern Star, Fleming Garden Christian Church and was retired from Rhodes Elementary School where she was the World's Best Cafeteria Lady!
She is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years Dallas Orville Smith, 4 sisters and 2 brothers, and two grandsons.
She is survived by daughters Wynona Smith Jones of Plymouth, Dixie Smith Moye' (Lemuel) of Houston, TX, and Lois Smith Sheeler of Dallas; grandson Derek Jones, granddaughters Shelby Jones and Kylie Sheeler, and great grandchildren Lena, Ellie, and Davis Jones; and sister Eva Smith, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate Madelyn's life will be held Sunday, Dec. 20 at 2:00 pm at Plymouth Wesleyan Church in Plymouth, IN. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the donors' choice.
