Barrie Celeste Brooks, 55, of Quarry Road, Forest-ville, known as TeenaWeen to many, died Sunday, October 11, 2015, at Peck Hill Road IRA, Perrysburg. She was born in Gowanda on September 5, 1960, the daughter of the late Eugene Francis and Grace Lucile (Gleason) Brooks.
Survivors include three sisters, Pamela Brooks, of WA, Tracey Brooks, of AZ, and Leslie (Christopher) Bennett, of NC; two brothers, Michael (Marilyn) Gleason, of CO and Jeffrey (Amy) Brooks, of AR; a half-sister, Danielle Bartelli-Oldfield, of CA; and a half-brother, Kyle Brooks, of Gowanda. Also surviving are aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Kerry Brooks.
There will be no visitation observed. Memorial Services will be held in the spring. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Jolls Cemetery, Perrysburg.
The family suggests memorial donations be made either to the Gowanda Free Methodist Church Piano Fund, 149 West Main Street, Gowanda, NY 14070 or to the South Day-ton American Legion Post #1593, 4 Mill Street, South Dayton, NY 14138.
