Anna Mae was raised in the Wakefield community and graduated from Wakefield High School. She took nurses training in Topeka. She married Dale Newell on October 18, 1947. Anna worked as a registered nurse at the Clay Center Hospital and at Tri-Medical Clinic in Clay Center for 10 years. She then helped her husband on the farm and Newell Trucking Co. She was a member of the Milford Congregational Church and the End of the Trail quilters guild of Abilene.
She is preceded in death by husband, Dale Newell, parents, a sister and two brothers.

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Cemetery in Wakefield, KS
There will be no Visitation.
Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery, Wakefield, KS
