Evelyn, daughter of the late Benjamin Perry and Margaret Phillips "Maggie" Duncan was a native of Pickens County and a housewife. Evelyn and Roy's house was one of unconditional love for anyone who entered their life and that love was returned by all who knew them. Together they shaped the lives of so many in our family. Never to be forgotten.
Evelyn is survived by three sons; Chris, Ty and Toby Simmons, all of Easley; a sister; Pat Jones (Lewis) of Anderson; and a brother; James B. Duncan (Kathy), of Pickens. She is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters; Ozell Owen, Irene Bigham, and Bobbie Garrett; and three brothers; Frank, Harold, and Jordan Duncan.
Burial: Greenlawn Memorial Park.
