Funeral Tuesday of Hollister Pioneer
Henrietta Berry Fitzgerald came to Wexford 57 Years ago
Funeral services for Mrs. Henrietta Berry Fitzgerald, aged 84 years, Wexford County Pioneer who died at her home in Hollister, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the home and at the Hollister Church at 2 o'clock. Rev Harold Kenyon will offciate and burial will be made in Clam Lake Cemetery.
Henrietta Berry was born Mar 26, 1846, in Bradford County, Pennsylvania, she was married to Thomas Fitzgerald at Williamsport, Pennsylvania, Decemeber 20, 1870. In 1873 Mr. and Mrs. Fitzgerald came to what was then called Clam Lake and with the excepetion of seven years spent in Pennsylvania have lived there ever since.
She is survived by her husband and four children, Elmer of Williamston; Arthur and Ernest of Cadillac; and Mrs. May Lindsey of Detriot; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A daughter, Ins, preceded deceased in death in Decemeber 4, 1910.
Mrs. Fitzgerald was one of the first members of the Methodist Episcopal church.
