Mrs. Douglas W. Bowman Sr. nee Carolyn Lang of Fredericksburg passed away on Thursday, October 22nd at the age of 72 years.

Carolyn Lang was born on February 16th, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas to Robert and Cora Klein Lang.

She married Douglas W. Bowman Sr. on December 29th, 1960 in St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Boerne, Texas

Mrs. Carolyn Bowman is survived by her husband:
Douglas W. Bowman Sr. of Fredericksburg
One daughter, one son and spouses: Douglas W. and Cheryl Bowman Jr. of Boerne
Kimberly Bowman and Michael Hendrex of Boerne
Two Grandchildren: Justin and Jennifer Bowman, Kellie and Derek Nixon
Three Great Grandchildren: Brantley and Belle Bowman, Kannon Nixon

A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date with interment of her cremains.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes that memorial contributions be given in her memory to the Hill Country Memorial Hospice, the organization is composed of wonderful, loving and professional people who helped make a tough time much easier. We love all of these caring individuals. Special love to Mom’s nurse, Rhonda, who was amazing. She cared for Mom and all of us every step of the way.
