Carolyn J. Townsend, age 44 of Burlington, KY passed away at her residence on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 11:06AM. She was born in Hamilton on June 7, 1970 to Emerson and Mary Ann (Weber) Erion. Carolyn was employed at Cincinnati Financial. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her mother Mary Ann Erion; one son, Justin Townsend; her fiance Gary Stevenson; three sisters, Michelle (Rob) Bucheit, Melanie Bender, Betsy (Billy) Pittman; nieces and nephews, Ryan, Shelby, Erin, Stephanie, Olivia, Christopher, and Martin; future mother and father in law, Barb and Jim Dewitt; extended family, Duane (Kara) Stevenson, Delane (Janelle) Stevenson, Keagen, Owen, Carley, Kelsey, Hayden, Hailey; father of her son, Jeff Townsend and his family Ryan, Nicholas, Brooke, Rachel, Zachary. She was preceded in death by her father; one sister Melissa Erion.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 5PM-8PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home 1350 Millville Ave. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday March 17, 2015 at 9AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 224 Dayton St., on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 10AM with Father Michael Pucke celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Stephens Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
