Beverly L. (Haskins) Stott-Vargus, a Taunton resident, died Tuesday Oct 12, 2004 at Massachusetts General Hospital following a brief illness. She was 70. She was the wife of the late Lester Stott and the late Arthur Vargus. Mrs. Vargus was born and educated in Taunton schools. She was a housewife. Mrs. Vargus attended Annunciation of the Lord Church in Taunton. She was the daughter of the late Irvin and Alice (Rogers) Haskins. Mrs. Vargus is survived by two daughters, Paulette MacDonald and Patricia DeSilva, both of Taunton; two sons Lester Bradford Scott of Taunton and William Scott of Plymouth; a sister, Lillian Dansereau of Berkley; two brothers, Irvin "Pete" Haskins and Thomas Haskins, both of Berkley, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in Annunciation of the Lord Church, Taunton. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Taunton. Memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, Norwood, MA
