Funeral services for Rev. Marvin Othell Brock, 77, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Steve Rodgers officiating, with interment in Ebenezer Cemetery.

Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Rev. Brock passed away Sunday, June 21, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Aug. 18, 1931, to E.O. and Mary Etta Duskin Brock. He was a retired 20-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a well-known Baptist minister who pastored over 20 years in Morgan and Cullman counties. He loved the Lord and he loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, J.D. Brock; and a son, David Brock.

Survivors include his wife of over 54 years, Bobbee Brock; two daughters, Lisa (Gary) Thornton and Amanda (Ricky) Parker; a daughter-in-law, Wanda Brock; a sister, Evelyn Curtis; two grandchildren, Stephanie (Daniel) Parker and Tommy Brock; two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Emma Parker; several nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
