Camp Point, Ill., March 14--- The Funeral of Miss Mary Yeargain was held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from her late home with services conducted by Rev. G.W. Wise, pastor of the Christian church, of which she was a devout member. Miss Yeargain died Sunday afternoon at 3:20 o;clock, after an illness of several years from paralysis. She was born on a farm in Gilmer township on May 8, 1839, and was nearly 77 years of age. Her mother died when she was quite young and she and her sister, Elizabeth, assumed the duties of the home, caring for their father, when they removed to Camp Point to be near a church home, in which they were faithful and conscientious workers and making many friends. The sister died just a year ago, since which time the brother, William Yeargain, and his wife have cared for her. Besides the brother already mentioned she leaves another brother, James Yeargain of Mt. Sterling, and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Stabler of Coletta, Okla., and Mrs. Lucy Alberson of La Coeta, Wash.
