Shane Wright, 18, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Monticello. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, First United Church of Hopkinton Presbyterian Center. Burial: Hopkinton Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Goettsch Funeral Home, Hopkinton.

Shane Michael Wright was born June 23, 1984, in Kingfisher, Okla. He was the son of David and Janice K. Eiben Wright. Shane received his education in the Maquoketa Valley schools. He was currently employed at Scale Models in Dyersville.

Survivors include his parents, David and Janice of Hopkinton; three brothers, David Jr. (Marge) and Chuck (Michelle), both of Manchester, and Brandon (Kori) of Monticello; three sisters, Tracy (Ted Fox) Wright of Manchester and Rachelle and Shannon, both of Hopkinton; his grandparents, Clarence and Laura Eiben of Hopkinton; five nieces; and four nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Dorothy Wright.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
