William Ronald "Ronnie" Snotherly

We celebrate the homecoming of William "Ronnie" Snotherly, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother as he departs this body into the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 6, 2015.
Ronnie was the son of the late Robert Ronald Snotherly and Lillie Mae Wood Snotherly.
He was born June 29th, 1938 and raised in Raleigh, a graduate of Broughton High School.
He was predeceased by his sister Patricia Ennis and sister-in-law Shirley Munns Snotherly. Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Cole Snotherly, son J. Alex Snotherly and wife Susan Snotherly, granddaughters Sara Snotherly and Elizabeth Snotherly, sister Julia Snotherly, brothers Jimmy Snotherly, Joe Snotherly and Mary Ann McCarthy, brother-in-law Everett Cole and wife Jeanne Cole, many nieces and nephews, friends and his beloved English Bulldog, Miss Emma.
In the 1960's he became a Nationwide Insurance Agent and eventually founded Snotherly Insurance Agency. Ronnie served in the US Marine Corp. He was a 32nd Degree Mason.
Services will be held at1:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church - 4301 Louisburg Rd, Raleigh, NC 27604. The family will receive friends following the ceremony in the Fellowship Hall.
