Step-mother: Abigail Lyal (Armitage) Mittnacht passed away 21 September 1894 at her granddaughter's, Mrs. William C. Crosslay (sic), in Barre Plains, Massachusetts. She was eighty-one years old, and her funeral took place in Baltimore.

Dr. Benjamin A. Mittnacht. Benjamin passed away on 20 April 1934 at West Burlington, Bradford, Pennsylvania. He was 79 years, 6 months, 21 days. He was buried at Towanda. Benjamin's wife, Mary Elizabeth Brummer died on 18 January 1924. Benjamin's eldest daughter, Laura Lyal Mittnacht died 19 April 1900 at home, 1315 Madison Avenue. Another daughter, Mary A. Mittnacht (Memorial # 91443849) married E. Hertzler on 21 April 1898. Son, 2LT Arthur Ernest Mittnacht died suddenly at his home in Old Greenwich, Connecticut on 18 August 1936. He was born in Baltimore on 2 August 1893 and married Katherine Wood.

Laura Virginia (Mittnacht) Caughy passed away 11 August 1913 at her residence, 304 Mosher Street. She was married to John Hamilton Caughy who passed away 14 November 1930 at his home at 1623 Linden. They were the parents of at least three children: Mamie Virginia, John Marshall, & Lyal E. John Marshall Caughy died in Annapolis on 1 July 1915.
