Mrs. Carol F. Brumbaugh, 69, of the North Adams Home, formerly of 5309 Willer Driver South, died at 9:58 p.m. Saturday (June 25, 2005) in North Adams Home.
Born January 14, 1936 in LaGrange, Missouri, Carol was the daughter of George B. and Mildred Logan Green. She married Norman D. Brumbaugh on September 18, 1954 at the Christian Church in LaGrange, Missouri. He survives.
Carol was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and loved to tend to her flowers and her yard. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved the Lord and wanted her family to do so also.
Survivors include her husband, Norman; a son, Kip D. Brumbaugh and his wife Mary of Chattanooga, TN.; Four grandchildren, Beth Stamper and her husband Jason of Minneapolis, MN., Mark Brumbaugh and his wife Anne of Virginia Beach, VA., Amy Brumbaugh and Justin Brumbaugh both of Chattanooga, TN.; Two great grandchildren, Jonas Stamper and Ella Caroline Stamper both of Minneapolis, MN.; a brother, Samuel Green of LaGrange, MO.; a sister, Jeanette Boyer of LaGrange, MO.; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Brumbaugh was preceded in death by her parents; her step father, Luther Lewis; a son, Mark Brumbaugh; a granddaughter, Laura Brumbaugh; a brother, George Green; and four sisters, Esther Kramer, Leona Crandall, Grace Frieden and Helen Kent.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. S. D. Bodwell. Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 and Wednesday until the time of services at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, American Cancer Society, Gideons International, North Adams Nursing Home or the Blessing Foundation for Hospice.
