Roberta "Bobbi" Edna Parker, age 62, of Sulphur passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2015 with her family by her side. She was born on March 12, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois.
Bobbi enjoyed life and loved singing in the church choir, reading her Bible and sudoku puzzles but she especially loved spending time with her family.
Bobbi survived her husband Fredrick Dean Parker, her sons, Michael (Shelly) Parker and David Parker, her daughter, Christina (Joshua) Adaway, 7 grandchildren, her sister Candice (George) Koharchik also many close friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 10:00am – 2:00pm at Hixson Funeral Home in Westlake. A Funeral Service Celebrating Bobbi's life will immediately follow visitation, at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Deacon J. Garrett Caraway will officiate.
Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake.
Matthew 11:28-30: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
