Mr. Jerry Harbin Stanley, 73, resident of Lincoln, Alabama, died Oct. 7, 2015 in Pell City, Alabama. Mr. Stanley was preceded in death by his precious daughter, Ginny Stanley Bass, and by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.B. Stanley and Mr. and Mrs. Jay Minshew. Jerry was a graduate of Southside High School, served in the U.S. Army, and received an Associate's Degree from Gadsden State Community College. He was also a long-time member of Logan Martin Church of Christ. Mr. Stanley was an adventurer. He loved to travel and would often document his travels through photography. He was a self-taught guitar player, a feat of which he was quite proud. He would often entertain family and friends in song. Please join us in remembering a life lived freely. Surviving are his wife, Audrey Stanley; daughter, Elizabeth Stanley; son-in-Law, Stephen Bass; granddaughter, Jamie Bass; grandson, Jacob Bass; sisters: Margaret Dudley (Rufus), Kathy Easley (Larry), Sharon Machen (Jeff), Pat Nelson (Dan), Pam Smith; brother, Larry Minshew (Kathy), and many nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved very much. Funeral service 2:00 pm on Saturday October 10, 2015 at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City with Bro. James Mays, Bro. Tim Hayes officiating. Burial will be in Eureka Methodist Cemetery. Visitation Friday, October 9, 2015, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at funeral home. Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City, Alabama announcing.


Jerry's courageous battle with cancer ended on October 7, 2015. He will be missed by his family and friends.
