Donald Ray Wooten, 78, passed away on Tuesday.
A graveside service will be held on Friday at 3:00 pm at Macclesfield Cemetery with the Rev. James Cale officiating.
Donald was a lifetime Farmer and a retired Volunteer Fireman.
He was preceded in death by a son, Donald Ray Wooten, Jr.; his parents, Willie and Lillie Mae Peaden Wooten, Step-father, Dewey Ray Meeks; Brothers, Louis and William Amos Wooten.
He is survived by a loving family including his wife of 59 years, Annette Jones Wooten; Son, Danny Joe Wooten and wife Debra, of Macclesfield; grandsons, Kenneth Lee Wooten and wife, April; Heath Wooten and wife, Nikki; Donald Lee Wooten and fiancé, Sandra Watkins; granddaughter, Kayla Corbett; great grandchildren, Kyler Lee Wooten, Ally Rae Wooten, Alex Stewart, Wesley Heath Wooten; brother, Robert Lee Wooten, of Virginia; sister, Doris Mae Wooten, of Tarboro; and a special thanks to Kay Webb and Diana Worrells for everything you've done.
