Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, May 7 at the Dyer Methodist Church for James Wesley Edmundson, who died early Monday morning at his home in Dyer, following a stroke of paralysis. He was 51.
Mr Edmundson, a Veteran of World War I, had been ill for a number of years. He was born in Rutherford, Tn. Aug 3, 1894, the son of the late Mr and Mrs W J Edmundson. He was a life-long resident of this section.
He leaves his wife,the former Miss Fannie Gravette and 3 children, Mrs Elizabeth Bond, Miss Estelle Edmundson and Billy Edmundson, all of Dyer. Burial was in Oakwood Cem.,J W Baird aa& Sons in charge of arrangements
