Graveside Services for Raymond Sams will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2015, in Alexandria Memorial Gardens with Pastor Christian Stubbs officiating, and under the direction of John Kramer & Son Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015, at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.; and will resume on Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Raymond E. Sams, 92 of Alexandria, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2015, at Lexington House.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Pearl Bernice Lehr Sams; and by his daughter, Diane Denise Deville.

Raymond was a railroad engineer, and a member of the Masonic Lodge #398 of Alexandria.
