Gordon D. Thorson, a construction manager, died Monday, July 8, 2002, in Vancouver. He was 66.
Mr. Thorson was born May 17, 1936, in Crosby, N.D.
He worked for Quest Communications and retired in 1990 after 30 years.
Mr. Thorson, an Army veteran, was a member of the National Rifle Association, Southwest Washington Arms Collectors and Rose City Arms Collectors. He enjoyed guns and tractors and loved his cat, Turkey.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia, at home; one sister, Eva Brandeberry of Vancouver; and two brothers, Harold of Battle Ground and Carl of Ridgefield.
There will be no service. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
